Glue is a Good Thing

Glue is a good thing, it makes things stick together. It can get messy, but what good thing isn’t?

My daughter and son in law surprised our family with the first of two blessings in 2019. 

Almost three years ago, that sweet girl captured some worn out hearts in our family and helped breathe in some new life. She is a spitfire and I hope she never loses it! That girl is going places and doing things. She tells Grandma S (me) “no” more often than I like, but that independent spirit will serve her very well one day. 

Her two favorite people in the world are her grandpas. 

I don’t know her Grandpa B super well, but I DO know that he and his wife raised the most amazing son, so that makes him pretty great in my book. 

I CAN speak to her Grandpa C, my husband. He has a tough exterior, but has given his whole heart to his granddaughters. It’s one of the things I love the most about him.

About eight months ago, another blessing made her appearance. Watching her grow, watching blessing one become a good big sister, watching the love in my family’s hearts grow even more….well, it’s been overwhelming in the best of ways.

Those sweet girls are the glue that holds our family together. 

And glue is a good thing.
