Pooh Bear

A little over 23 years ago, My husband and I were in the thick of raising three littles. It was a season in our lives during which we were going to the Doctor. All. The. Time.

My husband made the tough decision to switch to a local provider, therefore I had to give up the Doctor who knew us all so well, the one who delivered all of my children.

The first time I went to the new Doctor, I was skeptical,  but only for a minute. That Doctor picked up my three month old daughter and said, “Hello there little Pooh Bear!” And She’s been my Pooh Bear ever since.

My daughter is loving, compassionate, and beautiful both inside and out.

When she was 19, she was asked to help take care of my Dad, her Grandpa, and she did so with such compassion and grace…right up until the day he died.

When my Pooh Bear was 20, the most amazing young man asked us if he could marry her. Of course we said yes!

When a mother prays specifically to God for something according to His will, He sure answers.

Now, the sweetest couple I know have given my husband and I two of the most wonderful Granddaughters, and helped two young men open their hearts to love their nieces. Those girls are the glue that holds our family together.

We are blessed. ❤
