My husband is a free spirit. I am so thankful for that. It took me 31 years to learn this…yet he faithfully stayed by my side the ENTIRE time. I am blessed beyond measure.
Has our marriage been easy? EFFING NO! But isn’t that what the promise is for?
When I was 19, my dad walked me down the aisle of St. Denis Catholic Church toward my husband; and he gave me away on a leap of faith (thanks Dad)!!! I had inexplicable peace that day. I KNOW we are a perfect match.
We have put each other, our families, and our children through hell and back over the last 31 years…but here we are, still going strong.
I love my man, flaws and all. He is just who I need to become the person I was meant to be.
Have I stood by my free spirited husband for 31 years? You bet I have!
